Deputy Manager fixed term for 6 months

£26,470 rising to £27,358 on successful completion of training and probation period. Additional payments for oncall cover will be made for this post.

An opportunity has arisen to be part of an innovative and exciting development within our short term care for a fixed term. Short term care is a service which provides residential support to people who require either planned or emergency respite.

As the Deputy Manager you will be responsible for encouraging a culture based on respect and dignity for those in need of care and support, providing supervision and clear management to a team of staff.

You will oversee the development and implementation of care plans designed to provide meaningful choice and support to those in need of care and support, so that they can access services to help them lead the life they want.

We are looking for someone who shares our values and will instil a culture of continuous improvement, through dialogue with customers and their families.

You will demonstrate experience in managing and developing staff, alongside leadership abilities and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  You should also have a minimum of 1 years management experience within a relevant care setting within the last 5 years and hold a Level 3 qualification and care or management.
