£32,076 per annum rising to £33,024 per annum (pro rata) after successful completion of training and probation period.

About you
We’re looking for an energetic, composed, creative thinker with a can-do attitude who has experience working with people who have a care need. You’ll have a natural way with people and be able to understand the perspectives of those around you. You’ll have bags of get-up-and-go and be able to build the confidence and enthusiasm of your staff team to build a culture of enablement. You’ll be a first-class communicator who is credible and able to manage a variety of relationships with partners, managers, the staff team, people we support and their carers.

About the role
Our short stay service is based in Whitefield and the building is split to provide three variations of service: 27 beds supporting older adults with respite support or intermediate care (rehabilitation), and 4 beds which support adults living with a learning disability.
Its purpose is to provide high quality care and support to people, to enable them to fulfil their potential and live their best lives.
There’s a dedicated management and staff team who are passionate about the support they provide; we are looking for someone to further enhance the skills and experience of the team to take us forward into our next chapter.
You’ll work alongside the manager of the service. The role supports the operational management of the service and enhance an already good quality service. Working with the local authority and other partners to develop the service and ensure it has wide reach.
