Persona are offering an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Support Worker to join our Learning Disability Day Service.  The prime aim of the Learning Disability Day Service is to support the people who use our service to maintain and develop their independence, to ensure their engagement in community activities and to meet their physical and emotional needs.

About you

You don’t need any previous qualifications or social care experience, but you will be someone who:

About the role

As an Apprentice Support Worker you will be responsible for supporting adults with a learning disability either on a 1:1 basis or in groups, and will work closely with members of your team to ensure that appropriate support is provided to all Day Service attendees and that the associated paperwork is completed accurately.
