Regarding face time call:
I can’t thank you enough for making this happen for me. As I reside in Australia, I visit my Mum, 1-2 per year.
Myself and my niece are my mother’s Lasting Power of Attorney, and early last year, I visited Grundy Day Care Centre so that I could get Mum involved in more aged care services so that she could be around people. Because my mother is very friendly. My mother enjoys her day out at Grundy and welcomes the day with much enthusiasm. Each time I speak with her she always says how much she loves attending the Grundy Centre.
Thank you again for arranging a facetime call with Mum each Thursday.

Today I supported a lady to Grundy today to use the Spa bath. Unfortunately we got caught in a downpour on the way so the person was not very happy. Once she had her Spa bath she was full of smiles and had lunch at Grundy. Her mood was then completely relaxed. The Spa bath is amazing and the staff team are so helpful. They greeted us with smiling faces which had a positive effect. Just wanted to share this positivity. Thank you. Mary.

You well deserve the awards you have won no one is left around. No one is left around waiting to use the bathroom and you are on the ball with assisting customer to the toilet that need help. Dear Grundy Centre, I wanted to drop you a note of appreciation and gratitude for all the amazing warmth and care given to my mum, today. This was her first visit to you and she was very apprehensive. She told me how very kind all the staff are and how they looked after everyone so well. She loves the food and really enjoyed the impromptu sing song and chatting to the other guests. You made her feel very welcome and cared for and I am very grateful to you as she is. Just to say a BIG THANK YOU, to both you and your staff. I am amazed how, since attending your establishment Gordon now has a goal, for which to aim.
He now has a reason plan his week instead of remaining bed bound on most days. He cannot wait to tell me about all the group activities in which he has participated. Although previously depressed and anti-social it is now obvious that under the care of an empathetic, enthusiastic staff, he has much more confidence to mix with others and really enjoys his day.
His head teacher, when at primary school, once told me that he would award me a gold medal, if I could teach Gordon to read or socialise.
I think that you in fact, deserve this praise. Well done you have worked wonders.

Grundy has changed my life I feel so much better since coming. I now come 3 days, this is due to the lovely staff, they're all very helpful, and make my day here very enjoyable. I love joining in with the choir, Debbie & Teresa make the session fun. I love socialising with the men in Halstead Lounge, we have a good laugh, with the staff, making every day different.
