Elton Community Centre - Tesco Bags of Help

Eight years ago, Person took over Elton Community Centre and their sensory room was nothing more than but a bare room. This week Elton celebrated their fundraising success when they were visited by Tesco Community Champion Wendy. She presented customers and staff with a large cheque for £4000. That £4000 was a result of hard work and dedication from all involved.

The money raised is going towards a new sensory room that will have everything at hand to help customers get sensory experiences.

Ali Messenger site coordinator at Elton wishes to thank Tesco, all customers and family and everyone at Persona that have actively gone into Tesco and put their token in the Elton Community Centre slot.

When the room is completed, they will be having an open day and coffee morning. Everyone is invited!
