Our nightly rate is £189*

Minimum stay of 2 nights.

*Additional charges will be added: £75 cleaning and a refundable £100 breakage deposit which will be refunded a week after your stay has ended.

You can ask for additional cleans for an extra fee - you must book this prior to your stay with the REACH Retreat bookings team.

single room with profiling bed, en suite wet room and a mobile hoist
single Millercare classic low-profiling bed on castors with padded bumpers and adjustable head, foot and knee sections
two wheelchair accessible wet rooms with grab rails and waterproof wheelchair/commode with lap belt, one with left side and one with right side transfer to WC
level, tarmacked or paved roads and footpaths around the leisure village
wheelchair access to bar/bistro and gym/swimming pool (pool has chair hoist and accessible changing room)

Want to know more about how our lodge was designed?

At the beginning of 2023, we decided to buy a holiday lodge because people we support told us it was difficult for them to find accessible, affordable holidays.

The lodge was built to make it accessible for people with specific mobility needs, with plenty of space to share with friends, family and carers. We want everyone to feel welcome so our lodge had to be family and dog friendly; we chose Carnforth with the help of our Persona Your Voice Committee.

We regularly discussed the design of the lodge at committee meetings and we made changes to the layout including:

making sure both bathrooms are wet rooms
making sure one bedroom has a profiling bed
replacing the two single beds in one of the rooms with a double bed
adding a sofa bed in the lounge
adding a large utility cupboard in the hallway that can house mobility equipment and if necessary, provide a parking space and charging point for electric mobility equipment

We're still adapting the lodge to our guests' feedback. In January 2026 we bought a new chair that has space underneath it for people's hoists to slide in if they are swapping from a wheelchair and we supplied absorbent bath mats and mops for both wet rooms.
