Feburary 2024

Hi everyone,

Hope you are all well and I hope everyone had a festive Christmas and New Year! Apologies for not having a blog last month but I have included what I have been up to in January and February into this one blog to make up for it!

So, what have I been up to? At the start of this year, I attended a session with all of the other ambassadors and our mentors, and we looked back on what we have achieved over the past few months, and we looked at making plans for this year. It was really positive to hear about what everyone has been up to in their roles and celebrate our success stories. There was a buzz in the room, and it made me feel excited for the upcoming months.

I was also invited to and attended two team meetings. I went along to the LD Day managers’ team meeting led by Carmen and Lisa – it was great to meet all members of the team, and everyone had great ideas of how they can get involved. We spoke about focussing on being active and connecting and we will hopefully be planning some walks when the weather is a bit nicer, which people can get involved with after work.  I also attended the Shared Lives Team meeting, led by Mo – it was great to meet all members of this team and we also spoke about some wellbeing ideas which we can implement in the coming months.

I visited the Zen Room this month for a treatment which was a great experience! I got a back and shoulder massage and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Jacqui was great and made me feel relaxed and comfortable and I will definitely be booking in again in the future. If you are a Persona staff member looking for any more information on the Zen Room and the treatments that are on offer you can look on the Wellbeing Hub (see the links to it below) and contact Jacqui and she will be happy to help!
