You can:

• do a skills placement to learn job skills and get a qualification
• get support finding a job or volunteer role

Want to find a job or volunteer role? You will have help from a job coach and a progressions lead:

Job coach is someone who will help you get ready to work or volunteer.

They will:

• get to know you
• agree an action plan with you to learn new skills
• help you learn how to travel to work
• come with you on your first day at work
• have regular reviews with you

A review is when we talk about something that has happened.

Progressions lead is someone who will help you find the right job.

The right job is one that:

• you are good at
• you want to do
• gives you the support you need

They will:

• find the right employer
• find the right job
• check that you have the right support

Employer is a person or company that gives you a job.
