Want to find a job or volunteer role? Our job coaches and progressions lead will support you!
A job coach is someone with special training who will help you get ready to work or volunteer.
They will:
- get to know you and help you identify your skills
- listen to you and agree an action plan with you to learn new skills
- help you learn how to travel to work
- come with you on your first day at work
- have regular reviews with you
A review is when we talk about something that has happened.
Progressions lead is someone who will help you find the right job.
The right job is one that:
- you are good at
- you want to do
- gives you the support you need
They will:
- find the right employer
- find the right job
- check that you have the right support in your role
Employer is a person or company that gives you a job.
