The Elms is part of our day service for adults with a learning disability and the centre can support up to 20 people on any one day.
We take a person centred approach to care and will support people to develop skills and knowledge to help them to both express themselves as a unique individual and to feel confident within their local community.
We can support people to take part in a wide range of activities, either inside our bases or out in the community. Here are some examples of the regular activities people take part in:
We also work with people to develop an individually tailored support plan with appropriate risk assessments. This makes sure we offer a service that is respectful and meets every person's identified needs. This may include support with the following :-
