We are seeking to appoint a deputy manager to our Short Stay Service at Woodbury.

About you
We’re looking for an energetic, composed, creative thinker with a can-do attitude who has experience working with people with a learning disability. You’ll have a natural way with people and be able to understand the perspectives of those around you. You’ll have bags of get-up-and-go and be able to inspire the confidence and enthusiasm of your staff team to build a culture of enablement. You’ll be a first-class communicator who is credible and able to manage a variety of relationships with partners, managers, the staff team, people we support and their carers and families.

About the role
The short stay service supports up to four adults with a learning disability. Based in Whitefield, it provides high quality care and support that enables a positive impact so people can fulfil their potential.
Woodbury provides short stay (respite) support to people with a range of needs and is most utilised over weekend periods, therefore you will be required to work alternative weekends and be flexible.
There’s a dedicated management and staff team who are passionate about the support they provide and we are looking for someone to further enhance the team’s skills and experience to take us forward in our next chapter.
You’ll work alongside the registered manager of the service, to support the operational management and enhance an already good quality service and work with the local authority and other partners to review and develop the service and ensure it has wide reach.
