£13.75 per hour rising to £13.85 per hour after successful induction and probationary period

About you
You don’t need to have previous experience of working in social care, what’s important is that you are caring, a good communicator, patient, creative, able to work on your own initiative, show empathy and that you can also work as part of a team. Flexibility is important as you will work on a rota basis with a mix of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
We are looking for people who are kind-hearted, caring and compassionate; someone who has a natural way with people and who wants to make a difference to people’s lives in a positive way.

About the role
You will be based in our short stay service, where we support older people at Elmhurst and adults with a learning disability at Woodbury. You will support people with everyday tasks, including supporting people to get out of bed and get dressed, support with eating meals, taking part in a range of activities and supporting people with bathing and other personal care needs.
