This year we decided to do things a little differently for our annual general meeting (AGM)… and it was a huge success! Following feedback from people we support and our colleagues, instead of the usual presentations, we hosted our first Persona Christmas Fair at The Polish Centre!
The day provided the perfect opportunity for our services to showcase all the amazing services they offer and all their achievements from 2025. And, of course, one tradition stayed the same: the beloved Grundy Hub Christmas choir who sang the classics such as Jingle Bells and We Wish You a Merry Christmas.
Each service brought something special to the fair, creating a fun and festive day:
Staff and volunteers from The Green Community Café served soup and a roll, drinks and plenty of sweet treats throughout the day.
We also unveiled our beautiful new flags that were designed and decorated by staff and people we support, with the help of Cabasa Carnival Arts.
The day wouldn’t be complete without a raffle! There were smiles all round as people won amazing prizes such as chocolate hampers, candles, a £10 voucher for The Green Community Café, and much more.
It’s safe to say the change was a success and we can’t wait for next year’s event! Thank you to everyone who helped out on the day and made the event possible.
