The Green Community Café

The Green is open to the public 6 days a week

• serving hot and cold food and drinks to eat in or takeaway. Click for a sample menu
• providing a venue for community events and activities for people of all ages, including bingo, mother and baby groups, music sessions and much more

The Green Café was reopened in January 2024 as part of the Ageing in Place Moorside Pathfinder and we aim to create a safe, warm and welcoming environment for everyone.

In 2025 we started to provide skills placements for Persona Employment Pathways. Our skills placements are giving people the opportunity to meet and work with new people while they gain self confidence, skills and qualifications that can lead them onto paid employment or volunteering roles.

When you visit the café you will be served by people who are on skills placements and we thank you for your patience as we grow and learn together.

Food is served until 30 minutes before closing
Takeaway drinks only from 15 minutes before closing

We are closed on Bank Holidays.
