Shaping our Learning Disability Day Service

What are we doing?

We’re redesigning our Learning Disability Day Service (LDDS) to offer more personalised activities, support, and training and we need your help to make it happen.

Who can get involved?

Whether you're a person we support in LDDS, family member, carer, Persona staff or part of a local organisation, we’d love to hear from you - your voice matters!

When we work together like this we call it co-production.

How can I get involved?

Following on from our Tea & Talks with Oli, we are launching three new opportunities for you to take part in:

  • Co-Production Group

Join a monthly co-production group that will guide changes to our day services. This group will include people we support, family members, carers, Persona staff and local partners. Our first meeting is planned for late July or early August 2025.

  • Themed Workshops

From summer throughout autumn 2025, we'll hold workshops on a variety of topics from music and art to skills and work. You can choose the sessions that interest you most.

  • Activities for People with Complex Needs

People with profound and multiple learning disabilities often miss out on opportunities to shape services, so we are designing designated activities for people with complex needs and their families and carers to take part in over the next 6 to 12 months.

Want to get involved?

After taking part, you'll receive a gift voucher as a thank you for helping us.
