Bury Shared Lives Referrals

We're always looking for great Shared Lives carers to join our team and you're a big part of helping us to find them!

There are two ways you can refer people you know to work with us:

Refer a Friend is

  • a low tech option
  • both you and your friend get a reward

 

how it works:

1. make sure your friend adds your name to their application form when they apply for a Shared Lives placement with Persona.

2. if they are successful and receive a placement, you will receive a £250 voucher and your friend will receive a £250 voucher*.

Care Friends is

  • an app on your phone
  • you earn points at every stage of your friend's recruitment process, whether or not they get a placement. Your friend won't get a reward. 

 

how it works:

1. you download the app (for android or apple) and register here 

2. we put a carer job ad on the app

3. you share the ad with friends, family, local groups or contacts

4. you earn:

    £1 when you share an advert (unlimited shares earning up to £5 per month)* 
    or when your referral:

  • has been contacted by our team 
  • attends a recruitment event 

   £2     when your referral completes their application form 
   £5     when your referral completes their training and panel report 
   £40   when your referral is successful at panel 
   £200 when your referral has their first placement 

5. Once you've earned £50, you can decide when to cash in as much of your balance as you want to. The team will convert your points into a voucher and send it to you.

You can only use one reward scheme for each person you refer. For example if you've already referred someone via Care Friends, you won't be able to Refer a Friend for that person.

Remember that anyone you refer must live in Bury to work with us.
